All rug hooking kits are hand drawn on linen and include wools cut 1/4" wide (#8 cut), labeled and ready to hook. Both solid and textured, as-is and hand dyed wools are used in our kits. Also included are hooking and finishing instructions, binding if needed, and a color picture. Wools are subject to change from time to time depending on the wools available at that time. Colors will remain the same but may vary slightly from kit to kit. Hooks are not included. You will need to purchase a frame and a hook. We recommend a Hartman for primitive hooking, as it has a broader shank and thus easier to pull the wool through the linen. We would love to see your finished projects and include them on our Gallery page. If you send or e-mail a color photo of your rug to us you will receive a free hand dyed fat quarter of wool (your color choice). |
