Hi, I'm Emma, and I rule the roost here, so to speak, at Crow Hill. That's me with my favorite bunny. I am just a year old, talk alot, but mostly I like saying, "I'm a pretty bird", and "I'm a good bird." Alicia and Sharon are always telling visitors to "watch what you say". Guess they are afraid what I might say. Little do they know!

My favorite pastime is sitting in Sharon's studio and getting as much attention as possible. There is, Kramer a cockatiel, who resides here too, but I would much prefer adult attention. If I squawk enough, she will bring me downstairs to my perch in the corner of the kitchen where I can watch the birds at the outside feeder....and listen to family conversation while Sharon and Alicia dye the wool.

Can we squawk??

Being an objective bird, I can unequivocally say that their dyed wool looks subtle and rich when used in hooked rugs. When added to Penny Rugs, these wools add a dimension not found when using felt.

Sharon and Alicia's designs are unequaled for expressing that subtle primitive feel, rugs with great borders, and a wide selection of patterns. They are extremely creative and talented designers, and have always done exemplary work. I am in heaven in this studio being surrounded by rugs done, rugs half done, quilts, quilts half done, and books on every subject!

Latah,
